ROOTED IN LEWIS COUNTY
LIFELONG LEWIS COUNTY RESIDENT
Gabriel Frase is a lifelong resident of Lewis County, except during his four years of military service. He grew up in the Onalaska area, where he still lives today with his wife and son.
He attended Onalaska Elementary and Middle School before transferring to Napavine Christian School for the remainder of his secondary education.

SERVICE IN THE UNITED STATES MARINE CORPS
HONORED TO SERVE
In 1998, after graduating from high school, Gabriel joined the United States Marine Corps. He was trained as a TOW Gunner (MOS 0352) and was eventually assigned to 1st Tank Battalion TOW Platoon at the Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center in 29 Palms, California.
Several years into his enlistment, Gabriel was recruited by Battalion S-1 and became the Battalion Legal Chief for the remainder of his military service.
In early 2002, Gabriel completed his military enlistment and returned home to Lewis County.

A CAREER OF SERVICE
After returning to Lewis County in 2002, Gabriel immediately began the testing process for employment with the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office and was fortunate to be hired as part of a great team.
He attended the Washington State Basic Law Enforcement Academy with Class 549, where he earned his certification and began a career dedicated to public safety and service to the community.
Over the past twenty-four years with the Sheriff’s Office, Gabriel has served in numerous positions and specialties, including:

The knowledge, experience, and leadership gained through these opportunities have helped prepare Gabriel to lead with professionalism, accountability, and service to the people of Lewis County.

Gabriel believes the Sheriff’s Office should uphold the law while protecting constitutional rights and maintaining the trust of the community it serves.
His priorities include:

Using taxpayer resources responsibly to promote public safety

Maintaining strong working relationships with regional partners

Working with local agencies to strengthen SWAT and regional cooperation

Supporting ongoing training and advanced investigative techniques

Improving transparency and communication with the public while protecting active investigations
