A CAREER OF DEDICATION
Gabriel Frase graduated from the Washington State Basic Law Enforcement Academy in the fall of 2002 and began his law enforcement career with the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office, where he continues to serve today.
Over the past 24 years, Gabriel has gained experience across a broad range of assignments, leadership roles, and specialty units — including several responsibilities unique to a sheriff’s office.
His experience has provided firsthand knowledge in patrol operations, investigations, training, supervision, emergency response, and regional coordination.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

PATROL DEPUTY
Served communities across Lewis County through proactive patrol, emergency response, and public safety operations.

FIELD TRAINING OFFICER
Trained and mentored newly hired deputies, helping prepare the next generation of law enforcement professionals.

SEARCH AND RESCUE COORDINATOR
Coordinated search and rescue operations with volunteers and worked alongside regional partners during emergency response situations.

DUAL PURPOSE K9 HANDLER
Handled and deployed a dual-purpose K9 in support of patrol operations and law enforcement investigations.

DETECTIVE
Conducted criminal investigations, gathered evidence, and worked closely with victims, witnesses, and partner agencies.

Participated in regional independent investigations involving critical incidents and interagency coordination.

Supervised patrol operations, supported deputies in the field, and helped ensure effective public safety response.
